Built by engineers.
Obsessed with craft.
Not a committee. Not an agency. A studio.
Why "The 90s"?
The 90s were the decade of dot-com mania, the internet craze that gripped the world, fuelled by pure enthusiasm and the belief that anything was possible online. Prince was telling everyone to party like it's 1999. The energy was electric.
Then came the crash. The bubble burst, but what survived it was real, lasting, and built with craft. That contrast is our north star: the boldness and excitement of the dot-com era, tempered by the discipline to ship things that actually stand the test of time.
A network of experts.
Each the best at what they do.

Avi Takiyar
Creator & Lead Engineer
Avi is a full-stack engineer with 6+ years shipping production-grade web applications. He founded The 90s Company to bring that same enterprise-level quality to startups and growing businesses, designing, building, and delivering end-to-end.
The Network
The 90s Company is a network of senior specialists, each an expert in their domain. Engineers, designers, brand strategists, and UX specialists who've each shipped real production products. Core team members bring direct experience from Adobe and Vedantu — enterprise engineering at scale. No juniors, no generalists doing everything badly.
Every project has a single point of accountability. You always know who to talk to, what's happening, and when it ships. Senior execution across the full stack, every time.

Nagma
Full-Stack Engineer
Nagma architects and builds scalable, high-performance web applications across the full stack. With 5+ years spanning startups and enterprises, she specialises in React, Node.js, TypeScript, and cloud-native technologies, consistently improving system performance by 25–40%.
Currently at CarDekho building the LoanBox platform with NestJS and GraphQL, Nagma has previously delivered a real-time emissions-tracking SaaS at DineOut and a stock management platform at DistrictD. She owns the entire stack, from database schema design to pixel-perfect UI.

Karan Mehta
Full-Stack Developer
Karan is a full-stack developer with deep expertise in React, Node.js, and cloud infrastructure. He's the person who turns ambitious technical specs into reliable, scalable code, whether it's a real-time search engine indexing 200K records or a payment pipeline processing six figures monthly.
Before joining The 90s Company, Karan spent 4 years at a Series B SaaS startup where he architected microservices handling 10M+ API calls per month. He's methodical, fast, and writes the kind of code that doesn't break at 3 AM.

Priya Sharma
UX Strategist
Priya bridges the gap between business goals and user needs. She leads discovery workshops, conducts user research, and translates findings into wireframes and user flows that drive conversion. Her research-first approach has helped clients increase task completion rates by up to 40%.
With a background in cognitive psychology and 5 years in product design, Priya brings a scientific rigor to UX that most agencies skip. She's worked with healthcare, edtech, and e-commerce clients, and her frameworks for user journey mapping are now part of the studio's core process.

Arjun Nair
Backend Architect
Arjun designs the systems that keep everything running. He specializes in database architecture, API design, and infrastructure that scales without surprises. His work on Leàna CMS - a headless system now powering 20+ production sites - is a testament to his philosophy of building for longevity.
Previously a backend engineer at a logistics tech company, Arjun managed distributed systems processing 50K+ daily transactions. He thinks in schemas, caching layers, and failure modes, and his code reviews are legendary for catching issues before they reach production.

Zara Khan
Brand Strategist
Zara shapes how brands show up in the world. From naming and positioning to voice and visual identity, she crafts brand systems that feel authentic and resonate with the right audience. Her strategic work has helped three clients achieve 2x organic traffic growth within six months of rebrand.
With a background in advertising and content strategy, Zara spent 5 years at creative agencies before joining The 90s Company. She brings a rare combination of analytical thinking and creative instinct, equally comfortable in a spreadsheet as she is in a mood board.
